Privacy Policy

K-Pop Heardle (“the app”) is published by Jung Soon Shin. This page describes what data the app does — and does not — collect.

K-Pop Heardle does not collect any personal data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

Your daily-puzzle results, streak, and statistics (stored locally with Apple’s SwiftData framework).
Your notification and language preferences (stored in iOS UserDefaults).
Any guess input you type (used only in-app for that session; never sent anywhere).

The daily song catalog and schedule. This is a single static JSON file served by jsDelivr (mirroring our GitHub repository). The request includes no personal data — only the standard HTTP headers your device automatically sends.
30-second audio preview clips from Apple’s iTunes Search service, the same content available to any music app. Apple may log these requests under their own policies.
Optional: the app icon for a cross-promoted sibling app (Biasly), fetched once from Apple’s iTunes Lookup service.

Your name, email, phone number, address.
Your contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, location, health data.
Any analytics or telemetry.
Crash reports beyond what Apple already provides via App Store Connect for developers (anonymous, system-wide).
Advertising identifiers (IDFA). The app does not show ads.

We use Apple’s iTunes Search API and Apple Music deep links. Use of those services is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

The song catalog mirror is served by jsDelivr, a free public CDN. jsDelivr may log standard HTTP request metadata under their privacy policy.

The app is rated 4+ on the App Store and contains no objectionable content. It does not collect data from children or anyone else.

All on-device data persists until you delete the app or clear its data via iOS Settings. There is no server-side store to delete from.
